The Executive Board (EB) of SAEE has established the "Committee for Earthquake Protection" and proposed the following members: Dr Radojko Obradović as Chair, Drago Ostojić, and Milan Bošnjaković.

The Committee for Earthquake Protection focuses on analyzing all necessary activities related to protecting the population from the effects of earthquakes. Its members monitor current regulations, analyze procedures and processes, and undertake actions by providing proposals and recommendations aimed at improving the situation in this field. The committee’s activities aim to contribute to raising the level of preparedness of the population in seismic regions of Serbia for future earthquakes and their consequences, including the assessment of building damages after earthquakes, as well as the most efficient and cost-effective mitigation of earthquake consequences.
