After the Cultural Center "Lazarevac," where the exhibition titled "The Great Belgrade Earthquake of 24.3.1922 – A Look at the Past and Preparation for the Future," prepared by SAEE members, was held from March 24 to April 7, 2022, the exhibition will also be held at the Faculty of Architecture, University of Belgrade, from April 18 to April 30, 2022, on weekdays from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
The purpose of the exhibition is to commemorate the centenary of the earthquake that occurred near Lazarevac on March 24, 1922, with a magnitude of 6.0 on the Richter scale. This earthquake was known in the media at the time as the "Great Belgrade Earthquake" and is considered the strongest earthquake to hit Serbia in the 20th century. The ceremonial opening will take place in the Ceremonial Hall of the Faculty of Architecture, University of Belgrade, on Friday, April 15, 2022, from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM.
